It's All About Perception

In this season would you describe yourself as being on an emotional roller coaster? Goodness. How in the world can we process all the news coming our way? How do we decide which one to worry about the most? Fear and insecurity seem to permeate the atmosphere. Yet, on the other hand our hearts are grateful for so many blessings and things we see God doing in the middle of all of this. What do I think? How do I feel? Seriously? I have no idea.

I read this scripture a few days ago and it gives me comfort. It gives me hope. "Who has ever intimately known the mind of the Lord Yahweh well enough to become His counselor? Christ has, and we possess Christ's perception" (1 Cor. 2:15 TPT) Did you hear that? We have access to God's perception of our situation. We get to know what HE think about all of this? .

Every day I pour out my heart to God and then do my best to give Him an opportunity to talk back. My question more often than not is, "God what do You think about this?" What is interesting is that whatever He says usually turns my heart. Sometimes He agrees with me, and then shows me His heart on the matter. It helps me forgive. Oftentimes when He shares His perspective it gives me hope. The other verse I read in 1 Corinthians was verse 9. Listen to this. "Things never discovered or heard of before, things beyond our ability to imagine - these are the many things God has in store for all His lovers." (TPT) Did you hear that? Did you REALLY hear that? We can't even IMAGINE what God is about to do for all His lovers!

Don't lose hope in doing good. Ask God what He thinks in the middle of ALL the things. It might surprise you.
