An Evening of Redemption

One-on-One has gone and passed us by again, for the 5th time. It’s hard to believe that the PARC is FIVE YEARS OLD! This was our 5th annual One-on-One, and it was definitely the best one yet. We raised a significant amount of money, and we brought in new faces from the community to learn more about the PARC. The event was filled with amazing music by Fine & Dandy and James Owens, delicious food and drinks, flashlight tours of the Herring Hotel, a fun Whiskey & Wine Pull, and a successful live auction.

These breathtaking photos capture the night perfectly. The Herring Hotel is a building that needs a little love and investment, just like those who come to the PARC. Our members need relationship and someone to believe in them and help them along their path to end the cycle of homelessness, and that is what the PARC provides.

As One-on-One wraps up, we are thrown back into the reality. the PARC has outgrown the current property. The chairs are full. We are out of space, but we have our sights on a property right next to ours that we can expand and grow into. The success of One-on-One this year is allowing us to move forward with our plan of expansion. If you would like to learn more about our Capital Campaign, click here.

Thank you again to everyone who contributed to the success of our event, and those who were able to attend. Here’s to next year!

Special thanks to Gunnar Widowski for capturing these images that express the beauty of the event, and even further, the beauty of the Herring Hotel.
