My Favorite Partner

"I've  done all this so that I would become God's partner for the sake of the gospel." 1 Corinthians 10:23 (TPT) This verse speaks to the very deepest core of my heart. My continuous prayer is, "God, what are You doing and how may I join You?" I want to partner with God. If I partner with Him it is so much more effective and impactful. 

All of us can think of times in our lives when we had a really, really good idea. It just never happened no matter how hard we worked. I knew from the very beginning that the PARC was a crazy idea. It was hard to explain and we couldn't find anyone else that was doing it. But Robert and I both believed that it was a God idea and that the only way this would be successful was if we partnered with God. There was no way we could do this without Him!! 

Through these many years, I believe that we have done that. There have been so many lives that have walked through our doors and found peace, value, and acceptance. Many, many, many have found Jesus. Not because we preach about it all the time or require them to believe as we believe.  We just go to the PARC every day for the sake of the gospel.  I will be the first to tell you that there are many who proclaim to not believe in God or who have turned their backs on Him. That is okay. As we partner with God, it is up to Him to bring about the change in their hearts. We just partner with Him and do our part.

I will sincerely tell you this. I NEVER want anything for the PARC unless we are partnering with God.  The impact is larger. It reaches farther and makes a greater difference. You and me, we are all doing this for the sake of the gospel. When we partner with God we are also partnering with one another. There is no telling where God will take us next! I only expect AMAZING!
