Update on the Building

The changes in the building are a powerful visual of redemption. Beautiful colors are being painted on the walls and natural light floods into the rooms through the brand new windows. The darkness that permeated the building has fled and the PARC is now filled with hope and light. Everyone that walks through the doors smiles. We want to thank Susie Lokey for bringing her experience and vision to  welcome our members with color and warmth.

The floors have turned out to be quite a challenge. Work has begun to smooth out the rough places, fill in the depressions, and bring a solid foundation. Again, this is a beautiful picture of what will happen in the lives of those that walk through our door.

Our first fundraising event will be November 11th at 6:30pm. It's a Lia Sophia jewelry party! The party will be held at the PARC and there will be delicious food, lots of women, and lots of fun. Lia Sophia is a beautiful line of jewelry that fits all tastes and styles. It's just in time for ordering some Christmas gifts and best of all, 50% of all proceeds will go to the PARC! Ladies, mark your calendars and invite your friends. I'm sure that you will make some new friends, as well.

Our plans are to open Wednesday, November 19th. I know that we keep changing the date, but we REALLY believe that this is the REAL one!! It seems there are always delays when it comes to construction and a very old building. Redemption takes time. We will continue to give you updates as the time gets closer.
